Default 2011 NBA MVP Thoughts...

A little early but the season is finally winding down. Who's it gonna be?

Here's a recent look at the possibilities:

The top 3 that have separated themselves from the pack IMO are Rose, Howard, James, with Bryant lurking.

My top pick is Rose without any Bull bias. As Rose goes, so go the Bulls. His early year efforts without Boozer & then Noah can't be ignored. The Bull success has many areas to credit but this isn't an elite squad by any means.

Cementing him as MVP will prove to be this final stretch of the season where Rose has been the main reason the Bulls are closing out strong to the point of challenging for the top seed in the NBA. All this from a 3rd year PG...

Derrick Rose - "Why can't I be MVP of the league?"

I just love this kid. Humble, hard working, soft spoken. MVP all around...

Derrick Rose 2011 Highlight Reel - He Takin' Over!

This reminds me of an old thread:

Top Pick Goes To...

Where are you, doublee?

I think I'll wait til the end of the season but it's a 3-man race for me.

EDIT:

Just read that old thread.

Damn is Hinrich a sac-less choking bitch.

That is all...

I was trying not to give it to Rose.

And not just to piss Tark off.

But you can't deny the kid this year. Kobe lost too many games down the stretch and nobody else was close.

My only problem is that I'm breaking my own rules by giving it to him.

The Bulls have no chance of winning a title this year and I can't stand giving it to someone under those circumstances.

I'd give it to Rose.

Best player on the team with the best record.
