Default ESPN's dominance ... bad for sports?

Now ESPN has gobbled up Wimbledon TV coverage, a tradition on NBC for years: http://deadspin.com/5818607/espns-wi...levised-sports

You can add it to the list of things ESPN now controls. I like ESPN for the most part and think they do a good job, but a monopoly in anything is never good. They seem to control everything now. It's too bad FOX Sports isn't more of a competitor. Does this concern you guys?
