I'll say Calgary in 6. They've waited 15 years to get back to the Championship, so why not.

Although I must say, Tampa Bay has been very clutch for a "young" team.

The Lightning's numbers are better in almost every category... power play, penalty kill, goals for, goals against, losses, GAA, SV%.... whatever. But the Flames have had a much tougher road to get here than the Bolts have. And, they have the best all-around player in the league (step aside Mr. Forsberg... Jarome has taken your place). The Flames are bringing the Cup North of the 49th, where it belongs.

(P.S. Toronto is way south of the 49th, it will never belong to Toronto again.)

GO FLAMES!

Screw the numbers. The Flames where on fire last night playing their game and the Bolts couldn't handle it.

I think the Bolts will win game 2 then bring it on home boys... the Dome is waiting.

Is home such a good thing? The Flames haven't been dynamite there, but I think they have a good chance to win tomorrow night, and but will get only a split back home in Calgary.

So far so good for Calgary as they take a 2-1 lead on the Bolts. They are just a team of destiny right now, nobody is going to stop them. Iginla for MVP.

Anybody hear about Dan Boyle and his house catching fire a few days ago? As bad and horrible that is, what was The Score and TSN thinking? They both used this headline when it came down: Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Dan Boyle has house set on fire by Flames.

Anybody see something wrong with that...? Just when I was about to stop cheering for Calgary. :uhoh:

Well, just a pun.... but I didn't see that first hand.

Also, how about that Gordie Howe Hat Trick for Iginla!? A fight, goal, and assist!! Definitely Conn Smythe material. Calgary will lose game 4, and win the next two for the Cup

Marc, why don't you just keep your little mouth quiet. If this series is the lowest rated on the TVs in the USA in 8 years, then that is America's problem. I don't know what the CBC TV ratings are here in Canada but I'm sure they are thru the roof. This has been the most exciting and best hockey in the Stanley Cup Final we've seen since.... gosh, I don't even know how long. Probably 8 years. It's been that long since New Jersey or a team like Carolina or Buffalo that played defensive hockey has NOT been in the finals... I guess, ya, Philly-Detroit in 1998 would've been pretty wide open hockey like we are seeing now. Calgary's hitting, amazing. New Jersey got 1 guy and Anaheim probably 0 that hit as well as the Calgary guys do. Tampa, so fast with so much skill. Amazing goaltending on both ends and it's just the hard work and grit that get goals, whether they are from Tampa or Calgary.

I don't care if this is the lowest rated Finals in years in the USA. @!%^ them. It's 3-2 for the Flames now after an AMAZING overtime win and the Cup is finally comming home, where it belongs. But even though it is a Canadian team winning the holy grail this season, Americans should be ashamed of themselves 'cuz they are missing out on the best hockey in years and years and years.

I said at the start of the year that a Canadian team would win the Cup. I never thought it would be Calgary but I am more than happy that it is. Nobody will work here on Saturday. All the bars across the nation will be full and it's about time we bring this thing back to it's home land.

GO FLAMES!!!

3.8 million Canadians apparently are watching the finals on CBC. That's what Don Cherry said last night but I don't know where he got that stat, but if so, that is 10% of the Canadian population. So of course people care about it. And if USA wants to ignore the best hockey in over 5 or 8 years and watch horse racing instead, screw them!!

Anyway, great game last night but a poor result. Kiprusoff didn't have to play great, but most of the goals he let in were very strange, from weird, weird angles. The trends in the finals are on Calgary's side... TB hasn't won back-2-back games since sweeping the Canadiens in Round 2... Calgary hasn't lost back-to-back since midway thru Round 3.... Kiprusoff is perfect after a loss this postseason... and if Calgary scores first, it's lights out... but what happens if Calgary scores first, and then Richards scores?
