Default Street and Smith's article

Did anyone read the college 2007 offical yearbook of Street and Smith's Football artical on Boise State's head coach Chris Petersen? Wow. I like the guy even more after reading it. Man the guy is so much more than trick plays. He has a little bit of Pete Carroll in him. What I mean by that is, he let's his playmakers make plays. Florida's Urban Meyer is like that as well. He takes time in pratice to work on the things that will give them a chance to win a ball game. When most coaches give the last few minutes to kicking teams, Petersen works a real situations that can win a game. Like the pass/lateral that work on 4th down against Oklahoma to send the game into overtime. But Petersen talks about how they look two plays ahead in the huddle. That to me is a making of a true great coach. The guys seem to be content with remaining at Boise State. I said, "As IM doing to interview (By phone) there is construction going on to a new press box at out stadium. That's means so much to the people of Boise. Man IM telling you, that is what fans want to hear from their head coach. IM looking forward to see what he does this season. He still insist that Boise is a team that plays hardnose defense, and is a club that depends on running the football. When ask by S&S if any new trick plays will be added this season, Petersen answered, "We have a lot more this season than last, We'll see if we can find a place for them to give us an edge" I love it, Just think of all the Defensive Coor's. out their that has to face this guy this year, they are already sweating it out.
