The lounge is the place on the board where we really get to know each other and stuff so I thought that this thread whould be a good Idea just explain how your day was and if you have a problem or something that you want an opinion on just post it here. Here we go

My day was Awsome today we had a 2 hour delay so I got to sleep in and that is always a plus. I am finding my self less and less motavated to do my school work anyone have suggestions how I can overcome this

An interesting idea, Dave! A loose thread, open to whatever you want to 'blog' about your day... I like it!

As far as school motivation, what helps me is to do a 'calibration' every few months or so... basically you take some time to yourself and think about your future: where you want to be, what you want to be doing, etc.
Then you think about what it takes to get there and kind of break those up into small goals. It helps to have a dry-erase board in your room.

But back to school motivation, if you keep where you want to be firmly in mind & think about how great it will be to get there, that motivation will trickle down through all your goals, some of which I'm sure has to do with keeping up with your schoolwork. Hope that helps!

My day was one of those beautiful days that you take off of work for little or no reason and enjoy it more than a weekend because you know you're supposed to be at work  but I took a long bike ride along the river and am now getting around to everything on my list for the day. Gosh I'm a blast.

my day sucked...i missed my classes again today on mondays and wednesdays i have class from 9:15 am til 2:15 pm and for the past 2 wednesdays and last monday, i have missed all 3 of my classes reason for this being is that im also the paper boy right now, and i sleep weird hours(sometimes not at all) and its hard for me to wake up in the morning....

but other then that it went pretty good i guess. Baseball season is starting up around here and im coaching a team again and we are going to get started as soon as it dries up from all the rain we've had.

My day has been so-so. Mainly spent it writing a Personal Statement for law school applications. Then watched a local Philadelphia sports show at 5, which is just a roundtable type deal with local sportswriters...kind of like PTI without all they jazz and the obvious focus on Philadelphia sports.

We've used all our snow days. If we get another snow day, we have to make it up at the end of the year.

So-so day, it was the first one without a test or anything big all week. Horrible week with three tests (one remaining), two assignments, and a important/stressful fraternity event called Midcourt. That happened on Tuesday night and basically, I had to get all dressed up and go in front of a room full of people and get asked three questions that I wasn't able to prepare for. Fortunately, I had a good answer for each and it went well. Now I'm packing and getting ready for the eight-hour drive home for Spring Break.

Not a good night, I was sick all day yesterday and last night. I was so sick my girlfriend ended up sleeping on the floor away from me. But amazingly I'm as well as I could be this morning. Now I have a huge ChE 438 - Bioprocess Engineering test on Friday.

Then it's on to Vegas for Spring Break baby!

Yesterday was pretty good, except for having to deal with snow and ice. Telecommuting rocks.

I like this thread... thanks again davematthews3 for the great idea!

My day was an absolutely normal plod through the waking hours. Dream hours are much more fun. I've been writing down my dreams every morning when I wake up.. if you don't give them a second thought, I think you're missing out on half your life.

Lakers picked up an unexpected win in Dallas tonight, which made me ecstatic.. although I had a feeling they would win as soon as I turned on the game.

Let's keep the "SC Blog" going! How was YOUR day?
