Tribe all the way! Colon is amazing. 99mph heat in the 8th inning!!!!! They have the momentum after game 1. I say Tribe in 4

I don't see the Tribe rotation doing much besides Colon. M's in 5. They're just too well-rounded and good in each phase of the game.

Despite losing Game 1, I think the Mariners will be able to get past the Tribe.

Well it's a good thing for them, the Indians won Game 1.

If you're not going to win with Bartolo Colon on the mound in this series, you're not going to win this series.

I thought Game 1 was a must win for Cleveland because the rest of the pitching matchups don't really favor them. If they had lost Game 1, I was thinking Cleveland might get swept. Now I think this is anybody's series.

And on a side note that has nothing to do with Baseball, C.C. Sabathia who starts Game 3 of this series for the Indians was born in Vallejo, California. So was I. Go Vallejo!

....I was actually in Vallejo in August, 1999 for a trip we took down the west coast.. we stayed in a city about 45 minutes from San Francisco and went there for two days and went to Vallejo one day to visit their Six Flags themepark... it was awesome!!.... I was trying to convince my dad to see a Giants game, but he didn't want to and guess what? -- McGwire hit TWO home runs that game!... gggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......

oh yeah -- was this suspose to be about the ALDS!?... M's will win... they're up 4-0 right now in the 5th in Game 2.

Seattle got a big win today, 5-1 over Cleveland. I expect them to close it out in Cleveland and win the series on Sunday.

I think you guys arent giving Cleveland the chance they deserve. Sabbathia has been our best pitcher all year, and we DEFINITLY have the advantage tommorow over Aron Sele. WE CAN DEFINITLY HIT HIM.

Rick is right, Sabathia is a BEAST! I think we'll take game 3...i dunno 'bout game 4 though
I still dunno why we even bother with Chuck Finley. He's horrible. He gave up two homers in the first inning :redhot:

I think that the Indians match up well against the Mariners. Also, the Mariners are missing 2 pieces of the puzzle with McLemore stuck at SS. He is one of the best utility players in the game and play well at whatever position the M's want him to play at.
The M's have a difficult time with teams that can hit the ball out of the ballpark plus can run well. The Indians can do both. They have a lot of speed at the top of their lineup and a lot of power.

I'll take the M's in 5, they roughed up Chuck Finley tonight, they won't have as much success against Sabathia, but they will be able to pull it off, in game four, whether it's Burba, Nagy or Jared Wright , Seattle will light up whoever steps on the mound.

I almost think McLemore is an upgrade at SS. His defense isn't as good, but his bat and speed make up for it. I also don't think that Game 3 is as lopsided as you think. Sele is a solid pitcher and should hold his own. It's a crapshoot though, I still say M's in five.

Actually, Colon is pitching game 4. That is why I think we will take it in four. I think we can win tommorow, and Colon will win the series for us in game 5. The only person we cant hit on the Mariner's id Jamie Moyer, and he will only pitch against us once.

If it goes 5 games, hopefully Finley will do better. It seemed like after a horrible first inning, he setlled down and pitched fairly well.

Wow am I releived to hear Colon is pitching game4. If he pitches like that, he'll be unstoppable. Hopefully we can close it out before Finley goes to the mound. :uhoh:
