For last year's playoff game, the Bucs arrived early in Philadelphia because of an advancing snowstorm. This time, the Bucs might come early again - but to test the new Veterans Stadium turf. Discuss this game here!

We've done this in the past, so let's do it again. The game time temperature is expected to be 44 degrees... which plays to the Bucs' favor - remember, they are like 0-21 under 40 at gametime. Because of that and their hot play down the stretch, I'm going to go with the Bucs. It all depends if they can have a pass game or not. This will be a low-scoring game.

The temperature wasn't under 40 in Philadelphia on Saturday, but Brad Johnson's quarterback rating was: 36.8.
It's pretty much a foregone conclusion now that Tony Dungy is out as the Buccaneers' head coach and Bill Parcells (or "Pah-cells," as Will McDonough used to say) is in, perhaps as soon as this coming Tuesday. And who was the starting quarterback for Parcells the last time he went to the Super Bowl? And what quarterback will be temptingly available when the trading ban is lifted on March 1? The answers, of course, are Drew Bledsoe, and Drew Bledsoe. Tampa Bay should have no trouble unloading Johnson in a trade, quite possibly to the expansion Houston Texans for Houston's second-round pick, the 33rd overall. The Bucs then give up their first-round pick (#21) to New England, and it's a done deal. Comments, anyone? Last edited by Anthony; 01-13-2002 at 04:50 AM. |

Marc, I'm saying that Brad Johnson is going to get traded - not Keyshawn!
