Default Bonds wins 3rd straight MVP.

And with that, the Giants now have 4 straight MVP awards.

However, I think ESPN has another typo... like Martinez with the Cy Young... they said Martinez got a HALF MILLION for getting 3rd, but the article was later reparied to read "50,000"... now the story on the NL MVP (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1664815) says Pierre gets $200,000 for TENTH.

With one more MVP, Bonds will be second on the all-time leader in MVP awards in all pro sports. I will take this opporunity to remind everyone that Wayne Gretzky, the #1 pro athlete of all-time, is #1 with 9.

In three years, Bonds will probably tie that. LOL! This man's unbelievable. He's so good, it's ridculous! Baseball players are not meant to be walk 150 times a season. He just break the rules, and the records. Bonds is God.

I would also like to congratulate Barry Bonds on his award. He is simply an awesome hitter who has blossomed later in his career than other hitters have.
Quite a feat.

He's great, but I was pulling for Albert Pujols. Still in all, Bonds is a force. The guy gets nothing to hit and yet still puts up some great numbers. I can't argue his selection. Pujols had a great year too though.

I hate his personality. What a ******* for leaving the Player's Association.

I'll admit he's a great player when he gets tested for steroids and they find he isn't on them. Until then I believe it's a mix of skill and roids.

Any possibility he protects himself from the continued steroid question by RETIRING this offseason?

At season's end, still having been unable to properly mourn his father's passing, he was making such noises. IF he's on them, and wants to avoid the spectacle of testing positive, even if for THG, he might opt to put in more time with his kids...

marc said it right, can't say he or any other player is ruly a big HR hitter until these tests are done.

Personally, I think there will be alot of surprises. Lets face it, many many players take Performace Enhancements or some type of them.

I hate Bonds so much, how can anyone believe a little twig like him turned out to be so huge. And you may say the same about Sosa, which is true, but Sosa is still not Big Mac huge.

You can hate him for HOW he got huge, not BECAUSE he did. If he is isn't found with steroids, it might just be a lot of working out and hard work. If that's the case, great for him.

Bonds will find a way to slip the Drug Testing or get clean results.

His kind of people do that.
