Braves game starts in an hour & a half - Huddy vs Derek Lowe. Disappointed they sent Joey Devine back down to the minors.....

Yankees open at Oakland tonight at 10 PM. Looks like it might get rained out, otherwise I'll be sleeping at school tomorrow.

Schilling looked good today! Ortiz homered... M. Lowell homered... Pujols is still a monster w/ 2 HR's so far... great opening day IMO!!! All I need now is an Oakland win to cap off my great Monday.

Dang...Perez goes 5 1/3 innings with 1 run and 3 hits (and the 2-1 lead) and then the bullpen blows it for him. The bullpen...the only thing people said the Pirates were kinda strong at. Jeez...Oh well, there's still 161 games to play.

Sue, I read your post last week and meant to comment on it... but forgot. Anyway, no I don't think Clemens ever took steriods. From what I've read, he is a work horse. Jose Canseco's book, where he rats out everyone, believe it or not he actually praises Roger. He said he's never seen anyone work as hard. He also said (in the chapter "road meat" - reffering to girls on the road) Roger never (as far as he's seen) cheated on his wife while on the road. I was suprised to read this. Jose was bashing everyone, but had nothing but good stuff to say about the Rocket. I believe him too. Roger just seems like the type. Such a competitor, etc. I remember when he had his mother coming out to the games when he was about to hit his 300th win. He just seems like an icon of MLB ya know?

I agree. I never thought he took steroids, either. But ever since the Bonds on steroids issue came up, some people were inferring that Clemens took them, too, saying that was the reason that he continued to pitch so well past his late 30s and into his 40s.

Did you see the banner in SF that says: "Trade Barry!" I love it!!!

I saw that sign as well. Not sure that would be a good move for the Giants. He is their only real drawing card right now.

Someone just threw a syringe, with the needle either removed or covered, at Bonds as he left the field. Not cool. Boo him, jeer him all you want. He can handle that. Do not throw things onto the field.

Yeah, I don't think they would trade him... but its nice to know that even the home crowd (or some fo them) hate him too. Hopefully he'll just leave the game as 99% of most fans want him too.

I agree throwing things on the field is not cool... but I don't feel the least but sorry for Bonds.

Yesterday was suedon's day. The Braves won their season opener, and the Gators won their first NCAA basketball champion.

Oh wait, suedon drives a black Jaguar and drinks cosmopolitans (presumably not at the same time). Everyday must be her day..........
