Default International NBA Games Cancelled

Due to the events of the past 10 days, the NBA has decided to cancel all preseason games outside of the United States and Canada.... (full story at NBA.com)

..so I guess this means that the Minnesota Timberwolves and Toronto Raptors will just hold their training camp as per ususal at home, instead of Germany... that's good 'cuz I wasn't too crazy about my new and improved Raptors (okay, so they're exactly the same as last year, except with Olajuwon, but they seem different to have EVERYONE come back this year) going to Germany and having jet lag to start the season from the start, when they decided they'd participate in a training camp and games in Germany.

So they're cancelling all games now and in the future, for preseason? That's doesn't make sense... as baseball, football, hockey, etc. have picked up again, why would the NBA cancel?

Yeah thats doesn't make much sense to me either. Maybe the league feels more comfortable if their closer to home and the security would be better.

No -- they're just cancelling all international NBA preseason games as the Raps and 'Wolves were suspose to goto Germany for training camp and other teams, including the Lakers, where scheduled to play in Mexico & Japan.... now, they're just keeping everyone "at home" in Canada and the USA.
