Default Kordell finally put in his place

Korell Stewart was finally put in his place this weekend! And you ask where that place is....it is called the bench! After another subpar performance through 3 quarters, Stewart was taken out of the game late in the 4th and replaced by Tommy Maddox. Just so happens that Maddox is able to move the ball down the field quite easily for the tying score and winning field goal! Kordell hope your ready to make the transition to another position, because Maddox and Batch are both better suited for this team to win games!

Cant argue with ya Joey. There are too many weapons on this offense, for it to be as inept in putting points on the board, as it has been under Stewart

Not sure that Maddox, the ex-UCLA star, is the answer, but on this day he looked much more decisive, quicker in his decisions and very accurate. He also appeared to be doing a much better job of looking off the safeties and dropping LB's, because he was hitting his receivers in spaces. Receivers love knowing that safeties are frozen, because then there not able to land the big hits with any regularity.

The question is, was this a problem for the defense because of the changeup in the middle of the game, or is Maddox just better suited for these weapons.

I myself do not think Stewart is a Super Bowl QB, but not sure after one quarter, Maddox is the answer either.

It's not all Kordell's fault. Burress has been struggling mightily so far and Bettis hasn't been effective at all ... even being benched in portions of last week's game for an "injury." But I think Maddox, the ex-XFL MVP, deserves a chance -- and if not him, Charlie Batch!

Can't believe Maddox is ahead of Batch on the depth chart!

It doesn't really matter though, because the Steelers were the #1 seed in the AFC last year - and they're destined for the same fate that befell the conference's previous four defending top seeds: A losing season!

Judging from his relief appearance the other day, I CAN fully understand why he is ahead of Batch. I'm not saying Maddox is the answer, but Batch certainly isnt either.

I grow tired of defending Stewart. He needs to ride some wood for a while.

However, ESPN compared this year's start to last year's start. Kordell is actually doing a better job this year with more passing yards, completions, completion %, and touchdowns when compared to the same time last year. But, he also has more INTs.

Gotta protect that ball Kordell.

Forget Maddox and Batch. Let Randel El toss the rock!!!!!
