Lightbulb Pacers are the class of the East

The Indiana Pacers are 10-1, in first place, and on a nine-game winning streak. And without Reggie Miller. Wow. Isiah Thomas is having a great season with this young team and it's amazing how deep, young, and talented they are: Artest, Bender, J. O'Neal, Harrington, Mercer, B. Miller, R. Miller, Tinsley, the list goes on. They have really bonded together and are the run-away favorite in the East. Will they be able to keep this pace up? My bet is yes, they will win 55+ games.

Indiana success is only overshadowed by Dallas' great performances lol

You make an outstanding point, Keith, don't laugh at yourself. :goof: Another point is that the East has played stronger this year compared to the West. I think the balance is slightly shifting...

they're looking pretty solid...i think they are a better team without reggie in the lineup, because they are a quicker team without the old man in there. they destroyed the magic, but they really havent played any tough teams, granted they are in the east, but they lost to the top two teams in the east, nets and the pistons. besides that they look like a contender in the east.

I think you make a interesting point there. Watching them last night, during Reggie's first game back and before, it seemed like a slightly different team. Though if it weren't for Reggie's clutch 3-pointer last night when the Wiz got within 1...man, Reggie and his clutch 3's!

Big big win over Dallas tonight. I figured Dallas was going to lose-just had that feeling. I'm really surprised how well Indiana is playing so far this year. I figured on New Jersey and Washington being the best teams along with Detroit.

How about Reggie Miller? The old guy is ageless ... he came back and was stroking that three as good as ever coming off those screens and curls. He burned M.J. again!
