Default Pitino returns to Rupp again

Last year at their annual after-Christmas rivalry game, Rick Pitino and Louisville blew out the Kentucky Wildcats at Freedom Hall. Do you think that sent a message to Tubby and the boys from Lexington? They've lost exactly ONE game since ... 33-of-34 have been wins since then, including this season. Kentucky comes in No. 1 depending on the poll and Louisville is also ranked. Will Pitino be able to pull it off again, or will the experienced Wildcats continue their undefeated start?

Go Cards

Honestly, Kentucky will probably win. They've been real good so far this year and deserve that #1 ranking over UConn.

Well, I think I jinxed the Cats because Louisville beat them once again. Kentucky still holds the lead in the series, 23-11, but Louisville has played them close since 1984. Exactly one year between regular season losses, both to the 'Ville.

Then again, in '96, UK lost to UL and won it all...

In 1996 they had I think 4 future pros. That team was dominant with unrivaled talent. It was UK on the first tier and the second tier was led by a dissapointing UCONN team that lost in the sweet 16. There is no chance this is the 1996 team.

I'm a big Pitino fan.
