Default Best Guitar Players of All Times

I've been a music fan for many years and have been thinking about this for quite some time.
Here is a list for you to comment on (remember, I'm old and have my ingrained favorites). Feel free to add new names to it.
In no particular order:
Jimi Hendrix
BB King
Eric Clapton
Jimmy Page
Slash
Carlos Santana

Erickson and Loser, I suppose my age is showing here, but who are Eric and Robert Johnson. Also, how could I have forgotten Eddie Van Halen and Duane Allman?
I guess that's why we start lists like this.

Robert Johnson is considered by some as the father of rock and roll. Even some of his songs were recorded by Eric Clapton and others.

And don't fret over it, the only way I know about him is that my mom had some music from him..

I'll have to look him up. If he's as good as you say he is he's worth a listen.

Hendrix, Clapton, Van Halen are my top... but Joe Satriani is awesome. Also, Yngwie Malmsteen and Steve Vai are great... see Michael D'Angelo.
