Well the biggest snubs of all are who gets to coach the respective Pro Bowl squads - to me it should be the Coach of the Year in each conference, and that's clearly Brian Billick in the AFC and Sean Payton in the NFC.

As for the coaches of the losers of the conference championship games, who act as Pro Bowl head coaches under the current procedure: Let them - and their entire teams - face off at an international site on the Sunday bewteen the conference title games and the Super Bowl.

Alot of deserving players got snubbed for the Pro Bowl. Take Asante Samuels of the Pats. Tied with Champ Bailey for the NFL lead in INT's yet he isn't on the AFC squad either.
Of course when Champ Bailey went in his first year with the Skins his numbers were no where near pro-bowl worthy yet he still made it in as well.
What does this lead to.................nothing more than a popularity contest and nothing else.

What about John Henderson, Interior Lineman of the Jacksonville Jaguars. The guy has been THE reason that (elite) Jacksonville defense can just assume runners won't go inside and can focus their linebackers to roam the sidelines.

I don't know it is kind of tough to gauge the best corners strictly on numbers. Reason being that if the guy is doing his job locking down his receiver then he is not going to have as many opportunities to make plays as quarterbacks are not even going to bother throwing the ball his way. Some guys end up leading the league in INTs simply because they get thrown on 15 times a game.

Good point but that first year with the Skins, Bailey got burnt quit a few times without making any plays at all and he still went. That year people were even questioning if he could still play. Glad to see he has picked up his game again though, one of the 3 bright spots on a terrible Skins team.

My idea of the biggest snub-Big John Henderson of the Jacksonville Jaguars! One of the top defensive tackles in the NFL.
Most undeserving-Romo and Lynch.

Biggest Snub: Demeco Ryans

Most Undeserving: Shawne Merriman (I don't think you should get a bid the same season you're busted for using a banned substance)

Don't get me wrong, Anthony. I like that Billick is getting recognition. But I'm pretty sure that Marty deserves it in the AFC this year. He's coaching the best team in December with a first year starter at QB. It doesn't hurt to have LT though.

Completley agree with Romo, he has played 4 good games, and only 9 in total.

T.O. does not deserve to be there, he leads the league in dropped passes.

You know I was ready to rip on Romo getting selected but then I looked at the other QBs in the NFC, aside from Bulger and Brees, I am really hard pressed to find anyone else who has had more than a handful of good games this year.

Biggest Snub: T.0. (even though I hate to say it). I know he leads the league in dropped passes, but the guy broke his hand in game 2, and has been playing with a detached tendon in the same hand, and yet still put up excellent numbers. But the guy is his own (and alot of other people's) worst enemy.

Most Undeserving: Shawne Merriman (rewarded for using banned substances), Tony Romo (half a season)
