Not good IMO. 3-5 inches with some freezing rain is the forecast. That would do the trick but the storm isn't expected in until 7 AM. I'm already in that zoo by then.

By the way, the "dusting" we expected today turns out to be a bigger snow event than the last one which was supposed to be a big storm.
I'm tired of winter.

I've become more and more interested in weather since I found a book in my supply room at school a few weeks back. I'm reading it, doing the work and then testing myself. It's pretty neat.

Buck, I live south of Waterloo and we've had more snow than they have -- or Des Moines for that matter. We've got about 20 inches on the ground right now and have had about 70 inches this season. I've got a snow-pile at the end of my driveway that is taller than I am (about 6'2"). I haven't had to shovel this much snow in years. Maybe I should have fired up my snowblower earlier this season?
I'm looking forward to the Caribbean cruise in July. Already booked the room and just have to turn in the vacation slip to get the time off.
I'm pretty much all packed for it, too.
