I am a huge Memphis fan....if there is such a thing...and they will not win tonight as much as I want them too! They have a better chance of winning tommorrow night on ESPN against Philly!
Memphis never fairs well against Minnesota, Dallas, or San Antonio...and was swept by all 3 of those teams last season...went 0-12 against them.....so they are not beating Minnesota tonight! And funny thing is the Grizzlies swept Philly last season 2-0....so tommorrow night is there best chance! Joey

The Lakers are tied with Golden State for last, so what if they're playing the Lakers, Brian!
I say Memphis and they are actually beating the T-Wolves now.

Memphis lost to the T Wolves in overtime last night....and what a sad game to watch....yes I actually watched this game...lol. Memphis plays no interior defense, Gasol has bombed since Brown took over as coach, and the Grizzlies 2nd unit is playing better than the 1st. And tonight I set myself up for watching another Grizzlie's game just to be disappointed with the outcome. Things always go in cycles, but will this ever change?

According to NBA.com, the attendance for all Grizzly games have been "0."
Boy, it's a good thing they're getting that extra southern-U.S. fan support they didn't get in Canada. ...however, according to an "official" NBA simulation by SEGA Sports' NBA2k3, the Grizz will win tonight over the 76ers: Full Story on NBA.com |

Grizz lost....not a good outing...but then again I was not expecting much.
Actually the attendance for Grizzly games last season was ranked around 24 out of the 29 NBA teams...which was expected. And the attendace this year has gotten so bad, that last night at the Pyramid it was Tattoo night. That means anyone who had a tattoo that was tasteful and in a spot on the body that was presentable...then that fan got a free ticket to a Grizzly game down the road. This was all due in part that Allen Iverson was in town, and him and Jason Williams are like the kings of tattoos in the NBA. Still it was very funny last night to see that going on. I was just shocked that fans actually showed up to the game. The Grizzlies didn't give them much to cheer about last night, but they cheered when something good actually happened. Joey

Also, what is up with all these Grizzlies games on ESPN? That's like two or three already. Put the Hornets on there, already! ESPN never seems to pick the best games to broadcast ... I mean, why not Spurs/Lakers over Grizzlies/Sixers?

The Lakers are still a good team, They have no other solid center's to backup Shaq.

Regional representation -- they're a national broadcaster and hard-core fans of any sport appreciate other match-ups, not just LA in basketball, New York in baseball, or Toronto in hockey every night.
