It's possible, but not likely. He now has 1,209 yards rushing and five games to go. He gained 197 yards this past weekend in a losing cause and had over 100 yards receiving too. Wow! I think he will end up with around 1,800. You guys have any thoughts on what he may do or is capable of doing?

I'd say he gets around 1,800 rushing and if he REALLY turns it up the rest of the season he could get 1,000 yards recieving as well, he's got 578 so far. Man if he went 1,800 and 1,000, plus over like 25 total TD's (he's got 20 right now), he may play for KC, but he's winning the MVP. The guy is just amazing. I mean when KC signed him in training camp last season, no one excpected anything of him, and I know NONE of us knew he had this potential. Well, he showed us.

Of course it would help if the Chiefs could play some better defense, so they don't get too far behind and be forced to pass.

The only thing going against him is his team isn't winning a whole lot and he still is relatively unknown to casual fans. Everyone had Favre winning it until these past two weeks, so the race has gotten interesting for MVP. I think Holmes will reach 2,000 yards.
