Way to go Heathen...LOL.

Some of these free agents are player option only free agents, meaning they can opt out of their contract and test the market ( Kobe, Payton for example). So in fact, this list isn't entirely accurate, but more often then not, players do opt out of their contracts just to see what's out there or to get more money from their current team. Add to the fact that players' current teams can pay them the most, most of these guys aren't moving. Take a guy like Carlos Boozer from Cleveland. Had a hell of a year, but proably won't leave Cleveland because they can pay him the most and he has only been in the league for 3 years, so money is an issue for him proably.

The only two players that I know who have opted out of their contracts are Marcus Camby and Troy Hudson, two players I would love the Lakers to get, provided they can stay healthy, which they've had trouble with.

Hudson is more then likely coming back to Minnesota, same with Latrell and Ervin Johnson. I would love for the Wolves to go get a center who actually has some game. And for the Bobcats to take Michael Olowokandi from us.

Hudson's agent has said he would gladly accept a role as a 6th man, but that Troy would opt out of his contract Diceman. Translation...If I don't get atleast a good shot at starting with Cassall's injury, I'm out of here. With Payton leaving L.A. as damaged goods, Hudson ( provided he is healthy) would be the top point guard free agent this season=$$$$$ from some other team.

Odds are he's leaving IMO.

I'd love for the Sqwawks to go after Ray Allen, or Bobby Jackson or both. They have a ton of cap space, and ANYTHING would be better than what they have now.
