So, the Bulls have not fired Vinny Del Negro yet because they cannot decide on a successor and he may end up coaching the balance of the season. Seriously the Bulls have enough talent to be a solid playoff team in the East and they are just going to piss the season away because they cannot figure out who should coach the team the rest of the year.

How do they go from a team that took the Celtics to the brink in the playoffs last season to one that is struggling to keep its head above water?

All comes down to incompetent management. I don't think the Bulls have a real identity or established go-to leader. They've had lots of young talent over the decade, but never went anywhere with it.
