There's trouble in Viking country. Moss has been starting just to extend his streak, and it may be prolonging his banged up status. Without him, the Vikes are toast. This is starting to look like last year when they collapsed after starting 6-0. Just how mentally tough is this team? This is their second chance to prove the naysayers wrong.

A picture of Hines Ward giving TO a dose of is own mockery would have been a better picture.

A picture of TO loving every second of Ward mocking him would have been even better.

He could be seen applauding the second Ward TD celebration, in fact.

Well, TO and Hines Ward are pals and frequent off-season training partners, so Owens reacted differently to Ward's imitation than Ray Lewis reacted to his.

I was curious to see the course this thread would take after the Steelers win over the Eagles.

So, after back-to-back wins over previously unbeaten teams, how 'bout 'em Stillirs?

I'll answer my own question. I'm waiting to see how Pittsburgh does the next three weeks against the Browns, Bengals and Redskins before I'm ready to anoint them a Super Bowl contender. If Pittsburgh isn't 10-1 by Dec. 1, that could be a troublesome sign that the Steelers are still a year off.

The best teams are not only competitive against the other best teams; they also take care of business against the also-rans.

Here's TO as the Steeler fans jeered him. As usual, he's lovin' every minute of it.

Good idea to wait, ESP. It'll definitely be a better gauge of the Steelers after the next 3 weeks. For real or not for real, that IS the question...
