Question Willis or Halladay, Who's better?

Now, I like both these guys. Roy Halladay or Dantre Willis? Now Roy Halladay has a better record but has a great offense to help him out. But Willis has the Bullpen to save his lead but no offense what so ever. They are both all over the news , and last year I had never even heard of Willis. I think Halladay is better just because he's a more solid pitcher.
That's who I think is better.
Which headline pither do you think is better???

*Dontrelle

I wouldn't say Willis has no offense whatsoever. You're thinking of Kevin Brown my friend.

Well, yah he has some offense. It's that his offense isn't producing and he needs them to produce so they can win.
Oh, and sorry , it's Dontrelle!
I just think Halladay is bette overall.

For now, Halladay is better. Let Willis get some more innings under his belt and be seen by the advance scouts and hitting coaches a bit more. I don't really like his mechanics. I would think that he could lose his release point relatively easily and become very wild (not necessarily a bad thing -- look at Nolan Ryan's career).
Willis could be a great one, but to judge him on one season would be premature. He could be another Mark Fidrych or another Steve Carlton.

Yah, catman is right . You can't judge Willis from his rookie year. I think if batters cant figure out where the ball is coming from at his release point he'll do great. He could be a superstar someday. But Halladay is just dominating for now with his solid pitching.
Maybe after a few years Willis will be as good as Halladay or better!

Willis could be a superstar someday I agree but Im definitely not ready to jump on the bandwagon. Okay hes on a team decent team making a surge, and hes got a good record. LET"S SEND HIM TO THE HALL OF FAME!!! wait a couple more seasons and see how he develops.

I also am going with Halladay. He is the more proven ace and is more established. Willis is more fun to watch, but give him a couple years and then we can truly have a fun conversation.

Willis is only going through the league a second time as we speak. Lets see how the opposing teams adjust to him and his delivery. He'll be a good one, but he hasn't pitched nearly enough to be compared.

That said, Halladay.

Ouch, Willis got rocked in his last outing. Gave up seven runs in two innings. I hope he can regain his form. Every pitcher has a bad outing once in a while, so no one jump to conclusions.

Halladay is better. He's 16-3. He's one of the best pitchers in the league. There's no question he's better Willis. Willis is only 11-3. Well he could end up to be 16-3, but I still think that Roy is better.

Yah, they did hit Willis hard. I think he'll be fine after that. Now he's 11-3. Oh, Dizzle , Halladay is 16-4 now. Willis is getting more fun to watch. That would be cool to see him in the playoffs now that the marlins are leading their wildcard race. WOW, what a surprise!!! Willis still won't catch up to Halladay this year, But next year I think he'll be right up there with him.

IMHO Halliday is the best pitcher in the American League right now. If you saw the game last night against the Mariners (even though he lost) his stuff was just nasty. He had five great pitches working.... its a shame he's the only pitcher the Jays have.

Roy Halladay could be one of the best pitchers in the AL right now, but I think Zito and Hudson are pretty good as well.
In the case of this thread, he (Halladay) is probably better than Willis, at least for now.
As was said before, lets see how Willis develops. If he continues to pitch and win as he has done thusfar, he'll be one to watch. If not.....
