These are broken down by the top 40 picks, 10 sleepers, and 15 picks that are, well, wishful thinking. Hopefully you find this useful as well as entertaining.

MY Long shot selection:

IM going off the list and choosing from the world of NASCAR, Carl Edwards. IM not a threadneck, and I don't know a lot about the sport, but from what I gather and have read, he's a loose cannon. I think it might catch up with him.

My overall selection:

Entertainment world. America's favorite bandstand leader and Rock N Eves own, Dick Clark

I really wanted to go with a Rapper, Like 50cent (Fifdy Cent) or some crackhead who will overdose. But IM a little out of reach with the drug scene. But Courtney Love would be a sweet pick.

I know she is not that old, but Britney Spears is well on her way to pulling an Anna Nicole in 2008.

And this might be one of the more depressing threads in the history of this forum. I would hate to make predictions and see them come true.

Right now Sue is desperately searching for a fantasty dead pool magazine as well as checking the latest lines in Vegas.

Oral Roberts is 3:1? Hmm...that's worthy of a C-Note.

Mitch Miller, Art Linkletter and Karl Malden are all still alive and kicking. Any bets on which of this three will be the 1st to kick the bucket first? Sorry Toby. But this is part of living.

IM going with Mitch Miller

Dateline: Tampa Florida. Buccaneers head quarters.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell address those on hand today at a press conference after learning about the sudden death of the Tampa bay Buccaneers. The smell of death was present everywhere today. The commissioner ordered remaining team to show respect to the fallen team by wearing a RIP-TB. on the back of the helmets for the remaining part of the playoff season. Arrangements will be made at a later date, said Goodell.

Nice Jesture

What, No Ed McMahon? I seen him on a PBS special the other day paying tribute to Talk Show host, and the poor guy looked terrible.
BTW Sue, don't worry about God striking you down. The odds on that happening is 299,044,322 errrrr....

Never mind Sue, Better keep your mouth shut.

Well gang, the drought is over. We have our first stiff of 2008. And it comes way of New Zealand.

Sir Edmund Hillary

(July 1919 – 11 January 2008)was a New Zealand mountaineer and explorer. On 29 May 1953, he and Sherpa mountaineer Tenzing Norgay became the first climbers known to have reached the summit of Mount Everest. They were part of the ninth British expedition to Everest, led by John Hunt, brother to Mike Hunt. Reminds me, has anyone seen Mike Hunt?
