Default Player refuses to wear ADIDAS

JONESBORO, Ark. -- Arkansas State's leading returning scorer is sitting out because he refuses to wear adidas shoes, which Indians players are obligated to wear because of a school contract.

This kid has had 2 knee operations and said he was wearing adidas shoes when he first hurt the knee. The State Athletic Director said "there is not any stipulation or any research that shows any shoes are worse than any others."

I gotta side w/ Nichols on this one... if I had 2 surgeries and didn't feel comfortable in those shoes, I'd sit out too.
Homer: "All right, brain. You don't like me and I don't like you, but let's just do this and I can get back to killing you with beer."

if the adidas shoes he wore we really built that poorly maybe he should sue?

but come on, how many people are on a basketball court right now playing in adidas sneakers and not blowing out their ACL?

kinda silly that the kid would throw away a big chance at a career in basketball over a sneaker brand.

I bet if he tried on a pair of Adidas and a pair of Nikes without prior knowledge of which shoe was which, he wouldn't be able to differentiate.
