Default Obama's First 100 Days

Has he done a good, fair, poor or bad job?
Accoring to an unscientific poll on MSNBC, more people give him a D or lower than a C or higher.
Here is the poll: http://www.polls.newsvine.com/_quest...-him?GT1=43001

I give him an A. I am in shock over those giving him bad grades. What do they expect? He's gone around the world and practiced diplomacy, changing the entire tone of our nation toward adversaries. He passed a huge stimulus bill and Congress is working together more than in recent years. In a short time, he has put the nation on a path heading in the right direction. Moreover, I think we've reached the bottom of the recession and the economy is going to improve.

I give him an A-. He's had some cabinet member tomfoolery, and his VP has to be a mark against him.
(While I kind of like good ol' Joe, he's had the opportunity to speak on things about which he knows little or nothing, and proved it each time.)

I disagree with Marc that the economy is in recovery just yet--I work in the financial industry, and to suggest we remain anything but cautiously and overwhelmingly concerned is pie in the sky. My company has layoffs remaining undone worldwide. And while my department has been assured that the 15% cuts we've seen are through, we are skeptical. Ultimately, there remain places & pieces that can be cut, and I presume we'll cut them.

Also, the govt itself will start layoffs (in the form of forced retirements, more than likely) in the coming months, which will have its cooling effects on markets, economic signs, etc.

I believe the doomsayers when they say it could and will get worse. And we've yet to see the worst, in this country, for sure, in my opinion.
