I would just like to thank ESPN for the helicoptors over Vikings camp, it was completely and utterly necessary. As was the plane ride several teammates took to his MS home to convince him to return. I'm sure his burning desire to feel wanted was properly satiated.

I just wanted it settled one way or the other - so I could finish writing up my 2010 season picks thread, which I did last night; now all I have to do is sit back and (hopefully) watch no one of note get seriously injured, and up it goes in two weeks.

And without giving anything away, this could be my most provocative annual picks thread ever!

I don't think that was ESPN's doing though. I am pretty sure they were merely picking up a local news feed from somewhere in Minnesota.

But he did say that this would be his last season.

Do you believe him?

Yes I do. I believe him because he'll be on IR by the end of the season, if not by the end of week one. The Saints have the blueprint. Hit him, hit him hard, and hit him constantly. Guy is gonna be on his back more often than not, and his ankle is not going to hold up.

WHO DAT!!!

I've decided I will always support Brett Favre returning because it makes me feel young by comparison. I'm not getting old! There's a guy playing quarterback in the NFL six and a half YEARS older than me!

I don't understand how everyone is saying that the Saints came up with the blueprint on how to beat Favre. The key to beating Favre has always been to knock him on his butt. His Achilles has always been teams that can pressure him. He tends to start chucking and ducking and throwing bad picks against teams that consistently get to him.

oh I dont feel like they came up with it, they just have it down right. They tore up the Vikings last year, not just Favre the Vikings. It was a close game but the Saints beat them up defensively.
