Default scUM Players Scared?

From the Miami Herald:

UM's Randy Phillips admitted in ''the first two games, a lot of people played scared of Shannon.'' So Shannon asked players before Thursday's game ''who's afraid they will get chewed out'' for mistakes.

Phillips said 18 players raised their hands (including DeMarcus Van Dyke, who admits he's ''scared of'' Shannon.). Phillips said Shannon told players, ''I'm going to yell, kick and scream in practice, but I'm not going to chew you out during the game.'' That speech put players more at ease.

How in the hell did Miami's football team turn into this bunch of cry babies? Afraid of the coach yelling at them?

Yeah, really. From the Miami Convicts (vs. Notre Dame Catholics in the '90s) to a bunch of pansies.

Of course DMD is scared of Shannon, the guy didn't want to come to Florida and compete for a spot, so he de-committed and went to Miami so he could start as a freshman.

Of course the funny part of that is that fellow freshman Joe Haden is starting for the Gators.
