Default Favorite Thing to Watch in Sports ......

I have to say that I could watch videos of hockey players scoring on slapshots or baseball players hitting mamoth home runs till I'm blue in the face.

What do you guys like to watch?

Hey I guys, I really like all these new threads popping up but I'm moving this to the "Other Sports Blitz" forum to try to increase its popularity Start checking it out!!

My favorite things are (no particular order):
  • Barry Bonds homeruns
  • Dominik Hasek saves, Jose Theodore saves vs. Boston in 2002 playoffs
  • Wayne Gretzky passes
  • 1-handed catches in football
  • Vince Carter dunk competition highlights

whenever the espys come around they always have a great high-light real of the past year at the beggining of the show. I love it, and tape the beggining everyyear

Sacks are VERY exciting if you're a fan of hte defensive team... I get a HUGE rush out of it. By the same token it's also VERY disheartening, almost at ANY point of the game, to see your quarterback so helpless and your O-line so useless. Those are always huge.

Ya, you really brought up a good one there so my top three are sacks, one-handed football catches, and saves a goalie makes when he has NO business making them (e.g.: that one Theodore save everyone remembers against Boston in 2002. That was simply unbelievable). These are in no particular order. I'll have to chew on them a while to figure out that order

my all time favorite is any kind of buzzer beater in hockey, basketball or football. for football especially when it's a long pass play. (see Doug Flutie)

I guess this makes me a non-traditional sports lover, but these are my three favorite things to see...

1) Any great golf shot in a one or two shot game...

2) Any great play in poker...

3) Hot women...

Long pass plays in football, or explosive runs. In basketball, three-pointers and powerful dunks are awesome.

Awwwww... damn you ellis!!!... I have to add Tiger's clutch putts to my list!!!... was it 1999 or 2000 when Tiger was in the playoff at the PGA Championship and started giving his patented putt before the ball even reached the hole becaue he KNEW it is was in. Damn, golf gives us a LOT of exciting moents too.

Overall, sports is i just incredible. I can't really decide which is my fave moment. Dekes, saves, clutch putts, sacks, TDs, dunks.... they're all ranked 1A, 1A, 1A, 1A, 1A, and 1A in my books

The E doesn't stand for Sport. "Professional" wrestling is not a sport.
