Default Calvin Pace Falls Out Window, Done For Season

Get this...Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman Calvin Pace fell out of his window at his home and is done for the season. Is it just me, or is that slightly embarassing. Quote from Arizona Carindals Head Coach Dennis Green:

"I'm not sure all the details, commented Cardinals Head Coach Dennis Green. I did talk with Calvin and that's the most I could get from him as far as how it happened. He just kind of slipped and went to brace himself and went through the window."

Yeah, but not quite as bad as that baseball player who got hurt by sneezing...

Eh, this one is definitley up there. How does someone slip and go through a window, honestly? Especially a huge guy like Pace.

Reminds me of Ricky Bones falling out of a lawn chair and missing a few months. Or the guy who tried to tear a phone book in half and only managed to tear his rotator cuff. Or Clint Barmes falling down the stairs with his venison. Or that one guy (what's his name again?) who punched a wall on his yacht... hmm... who could that be

Seriously though, i would hate to fall through a window. I hope Calvin's okay

Julian Tavarez busted is hand punching a wall last year in the NLCS, and Wade Boggs hurt himself once putting on his cowboy boots.

Didn't somebody hurt themselves once puting away groceries? This could be a fun game... most embarrasing injuries:
Remember Gramatica that year, wasn't he celebrating the FG???
And I think I remember someone else (maybe Green Bay) after a TD running into the wall and headbutting it - and they broke or fractured their neck...
I'll do some research and get the names / stories.... funny stuff.

Found it:

http://www.nwherald.com/SportsSectio...1947392464.php

Bizarre injuries during celebrations are rare, yet not unique.
Kicker Bill Gramatica tore a knee ligament while jumping after a 42-yard field goal for the Arizona Cardinals late in the 2001 season, and was lost for the year. Washington quarterback Gus Frerotte sprained his neck when he celebrated a touchdown run by headbutting a padded concrete wall in 1997.

Check out this article... it has more injuries like a AAA player who hit a game winning grand slam. When he got to home, he jumped for joy at the plate, just like the big leaguers do, and felt his left knee give way. He blacked out before landing and when he came to, there was no doubt: He was done for the year.

Or Oliver Perez this past season who was upset after a bad outing, kicked an empty water cooler, broke his big toe and was out for a month and a half.
