Default Big Ten and Pac Ten road winners...

UCLA beats Illinois at home
Indiana beats Oregon at home
Arizona State beats NW at home

The road team in the Pac Ten vs Big Ten over the last 41 games was 7-33-1 coming into today, and then, 3 road teams win. AMAZING !

Nice win for Indiana too.

I was shocked by the win in Oregon. Especially by Indiana. Didn't UM get trounced there last year?

Well, Michigan didn't get TROUNCED Mike, but they got beat and it was a well played game by Oregon. Anyway, I don't know what to make of this one today.

I saw the fourth quarter of the Indiana/UO game. Oregon actually outgained the Hoosiers 500 yards to 200. So why did Indiana win? A kickoff return for TD coupled with SEVEN Oregon turnovers. I applaud Indiana's win, but given those cirmcumstances, I wouldn't consider this a breakthrough to respectability for IU.

OH, so that's what happened. Yeah, I didn't see much action today besides the entire Ohio State game. Had stuff to do. Still, good to see a Big Ten team get road win like that.

That explains it. Regardless, Bellotti's used up what little left he had in my respect tank. Time for him to go. Oregon just doesn't have any discipline at all, aren't THAT talented, and for cryin' out loud... Aargh.

That said, Oregon TROUNCED Michigan a year ago. Yes, the Wolvies had an opportunity late in the game, but they got outplayed by an emotionally inspired Ducks team. Despite their late opportunity, you KNEW they couldn't win the game at that point.

Indiana is really surprising me. This is a team by Wildcats have beaten up on over the years, and have had the moniker as being one of the worst teams in D-1A. Now my Wildcats play them at home next weekend after a bye week this week. Unless we look like a different team than our 28-0 loss to Louisville, we might be looking at a winless season. Probation is having its effects felt right now as we lack depth and talent, it sucks...

Take heart, Marc. Unless UK plays as sloppily as Oregon did (which is, of course, possible) they should at least be able to compete.

I agree with Dave. Kentucky has had Indiana's number lately. I always chuckle when I see this match up, thinking people would much rather see these two schools basketball teams do battle instead of playing football.

I third Dave's comment. Turnovers and a special teams TD beat Oregon, not Indiana. Kentucky will not only compete, I'm pretty confident they will win.

I wouldn't go that far, Kev. UK stunk it up pretty badly v Louisville.
