Angry Carolina's Turf

Wow, this grass, turf or whatever it is looked like Desert Storm or something. That was truly sad, they rank right up there with the Eagles for the best field surface in the NFL!

Charlotte must have mad Lawn Care Companies or something. That field was atrocious. Philadelphia is now probably better, since they installed FieldTurf at the Pit err... Vet.

Yeah I saw that...after like 5 minutes, the field crew had to try and fix it up. They need to fix that before the next game.

Good gosh, I watched the game today, what a mess. No, I wasn't talking about Carolina after the Pack were through with them. I'm talking about the field. The Player's Union should do something, with all the millions floating around, they should have watered it day and night so it would grow. They were basically playing on dead sod.

At one point in the fourth quarter, you saw so much dirt dust that it looked like they were playing on clay!

What exactly was wrong? I missed the game. Too much dust?

More than that. The field was VERY unsafe for the players. There were literally pot holes inches and inches deep in numerous spots. It seems between every play, the field crew was trying to fix it. Didn't make a difference. They've got two weeks to improve conditions.

On the unsafe topic, two or three players were significantly hurt. So the Player's Union already has complained to the NFL.

Oh...much worse than I thought. The players have a right to be angry. No one should have to play in those type of conditions.
