Default Baltimore vs. K.C.

Who do you think will win? The upstart chiefs or the Defensive Giants that are the Ravens and why?

As happy as I am to see the Chiefs back winning, I think the Ravens are too talented to lose this one. Flacco is a very good QB and I like their ground game.

Cool Anthony's Pick

Baltimore 16, KANSAS CITY 6 (+2 1/2) - The veneer of invincibility the Chiefs had at home this year was cruelly ripped from them in the season finale when the Raiders, who were 8-23 in cold-weather games dating back to 1996 coming in, throttled them 31-10 at Arrowhead. It must also be pointed out that Kansas City played the easiest schedule in the entire NFL this year, their opponents compiling a sickly .414 winning percentage; not only that, but the Chiefs played only one double-digit-win team all season, and suffered a double-digit loss in that game - 19-9 at 10-6 Indianapolis in Week 5. Baltimore's six road playoff wins in the new millennium lead the league, and Joe Flacco should be well within himself on natural grass, upon which his career mark is an impressive 12-4, both ways. The outcome here, coupled with the Jets' win on Saturday, will make both AFC divisional playoff matchups same-division affairs, with the Ravens visiting Pittsburgh, while the Jets travel to Foxboro to return to the scene of their 45-3 Monday night train wreck in Week 13.

Ravens 20 - K.C. 10: The Ravens defense is just too powerful for the K.C. Chiefs. With Ed Reed picking off passes and Terrel Suggs putting on the pressure all day K.C. will be run dimensional with Charles. And while that isnt a bad aspect to have and Charles will break a 65 yard TD run early, in the end K.C. running attack isnt powerful enough to keep up with the reloaded Ravens pass attack and RAY RICE!
