Default NBA Thought of the Day: Dec-Jan

http://sports.espn.go.com/los-angele...=ESPNHeadlines

Here's something you don't see every day ... Clippers owner Donald Sterling reportedly heckling Baron Davis during games. Wow, that's pretty pathetic. I don't care how bad someone is, you don't scream negativity at them when you're the owner. It's no wonder the Clippers are a perpetual disaster. Starts at the top...

Looks like Yao's career is over. Sad he never even reached his prime, but here's another freakishly huge athlete whose body can't hold up. Very few can hold up ... Shaq is one. Still, Yao averaged 20 and 10 and I would say he lived up to the hype while he played...

I do not think Yao's career is over. I think he is going to give it one more shot and see what happens. Like McGrady is doing in Detroit this year. I don't know weather or not he will get anywhere, but hes not down and out quite yet.

LeBron in favor of contraction ... and you know, he has a point. Would it help the league to have fewer teams, but more balance and talent? I think so. Bring the Hornets back to Charlotte!!!

I am not in favor of contraction, however, if budget is this big of an issue it seems inevitable.

Oops ... LeBron changes his mind, or actually denies knowing the meaning of "contraction." Heh, maybe if he went to college he'd have a better understanding of vocabulary...

Melo said on SC today that he's a Nugget until hes told otherwise, than promised to play in at least three more games for Denver.

Disagree. Everyone knows they'll never beat the Lakers, Spurs, etc. 'Melo is an East Coast guy, I can see why he wants to get back there. Not sure about the Nets, thought he wanted the Knicks, but if he were staying in Denver, he would have re-signed by now.
