He's still campaigning, like he has to sell his ideas to people.
I have no real problem with most of what he has done since being elected but Daschle and Hillary should not be in his cabinet. Both will have trouble being confirmed.

I don't think either will really face too much of a fight. Daschle should be a breeze, Clinton should be, but because of Bill, I don't want to discount the possibility that she'll have some trouble.

From what I heard in the news when the speculation of Hilary being Sec. of State started making the rounds there were several Republicans who spoke out in favor of her getting the gig.

The man has become pretty sophisticated when coming up with these job titles. You have to do that though when you've never worked a day in your life.

Actually, there is some dispute over the usage of the seal on the top of that thing. It violates federal law...some say. I'd probably agree with them.

*DING!

There's one...

I call it a proactive President-Elect. Should he just sit back and wait until the inauguration? No. He's calling for Congress to enact measures and is very involved with policy-making. I am impressed by Obama so far. Like he said, he's not going to "stumble" into the White House, but be prepared.

It doesn't matter to me what his alleged strategy is here. This is all about manipulation and preying on stupid people...or, even more horrifying, he actually believes this stuff. The fact is President-Elect is not an office. The Presidency is an office--being President-Elect means you are next to hold that office after the other guy is booted out. Until Obama is sworn-in in January, he's just another asshole Senator. He's making up a fake office to try to be more relevant than he actually is. If our politicians are simply going to use their imaginations to create magical things out of thin air that have no grounding in reality, I would at least expect them to create things more helpful to the nation, like the trillions of dollars we are in debt, or a national-purpose. That would be cool.

I absolutely do not want Daschle to be Sec of HHS. I would be a much better choice, as I have never worked for a lobbyist and would be objective. He would be a very, very poor choice.
Hillary is not qualified to do the job she currently has, let alone get promoted.
Gen. Powell should be Sec of State and someone that understands healthcare and its delivery, should be HHS Sec.

Should be a smooth transition for the greaseball.

Trust me Buck, Barack Obama had to work harder in college than you have in your entire life.

You don't become the first black president of the Harvard Law Review by sitting on the couch watching the Buckeyes get detroyed in bowl games.

So he's never done manual labor, big deal. He's still worked his ass off to get where he is today.

Oh, and I hate pop music.

From his various interviews, I get the impression that he sits on his ass watching all regular season and bowl games...for every team! He's quite a fan!
