Quite a bounceback from losing to Santa Clara.

Iowa just upset Texas in Maui. What do you have to complain about? Penn State has lost to Illinois State and South Carolina State.

Yeah, Carolina is easily a top five team in talent this year, if not the most talented team in the country, they easily have four NBA players in Felton, McCants, May, and Marvin Williams with Jawad Williams being seen as a guy who will at least get a shot at making a team in the NBA. The key to UNC's success will be how well Roy can keep this team focused and motivated enough not to have any more slip ups like they did against Santa Clara.

All that talent will never amount to anything because they play and act selfish. I honestly don't think they're going to get drastically better than they were in previous years when they had the same players. I am anticipating their matchup against a younger, but equally talented Kentucky team in a few weeks.

NBA players win in college, period. UNC will prove that this year (although a sweet 16 loss in probable as they are an enigma), and UK and UConn will prove that next year with a possibily of 4 NBAers on each team.

Great talent and great coach, both of which won nothing ... UNC had the same talent in past years and couldn't put it together. I'm doubtful it will change this year. All the glitter, none of the nitty-gritty...

Yes, recent years, mostly since the May/Felton/McCants recruiting class came in. I think the core of the UNC is talented, but largely is selfish and they are not winners. Just isn't the chemistry.

I think Felton is the only guy on the team who really tries to hold the team together, but May seems more concerned about showing NBA scouts what he is made of and God knows where McCants' head is going to from one game to the next.

I liked what I saw from the Heels today for the most part, although the lack foa quality PG off the bench could ultimately be what bites them in the butt come March. It looks as though the Santa Clara game may have been a wake up call and that Roy may finally be getting through to some of these kids. McCants may very well be the best offensive player in the nation this year.
