If the NFL creates a Senior League, they might win that; otherwise no way.

Never you mind Anthony ... or MorgantownDave ... I've picked Oakland to defeat Seattle, as well.

My darkhorse team is Cleveland.

I said nothing, Maniac. I'm shocked you would smack me down pre-emptively. Is your family name Bush?

Oakland might win six games. The SB will not be one of them.
However, I feel pretty certain that they will win their game over Cleveland, who will struggle to scrabble four wins together this year, with the most overrated lout of a QB to come down the pike since... well... Rich Gannon.

I'll say New England. No one is really in there way in the AFC except Indianapolis. Look for the Packers to make a push in the NFC. Favre is determined and everyone is ready to hand the division over to Minnesota. In the words of Lee Corso, not so fast my friend.

Who said Cleveland? YOU EGO ? Go to your room ! Perhaps if they had humans, and not chimps, in their front office and in their organization in general running things, I would give them a fair shake.

Considering I'm like Sgt. Shultz from Hogan's Heroes on the NFL nowadays ( I KNOW NOTHING !), I will go with....the...mmmm...ah....Packers. One more for Favre ! And a bitter pill for Dave...LOL.

Cleveland will be mentioned as the laughing stock of the league once SD gives up the mantle in the coming offseason. Well... assuming they do. They could hire ANOTHER crappy GM and another coach who doesn't connect AT ALL with his players, and then proceed to be the laughing stock.

I know I have about as much objectivity when it comes to the Packers as Dick Cheney does about oil, but I say I really believe the Packers can do it. They've been knocking on the door with division-winning teams, and they've made a few changes, along with the improvement of their young players, and I think this could be the year they win it again, then Favre retiring. He has a peculiar vibe about him this time around, IMO.

Strong feelings against the Cleveland Browns! Well ... ok, you're permitted your say. Even so, there are some on the Browns who're talking a need to be the VERY best defense in the league this season ... and that spells S-U-C-C-E-S-S!

If you will, think of the Browns as the Redskins in that it is the front-office that is making the 'mistakes'. Why is this meaningful? I seem to think the season could be one of self-destructive tendencies ... and the Browns have already tendered their portion of 'self-destruction' for the season.

There is another reason why this 'team of dynasty' has my attention: in order for the Cleveland Browns to win championships they need others to self destruct.

I can't think of a better team to label as a darkhorse.

I go Falcons because probably that's what I always say and I can;t say anyone else to go against them. I'm saying the AFC champs will be the Pats because they have the same coaching staff

Call me crazy, but I'm saying Colts vs Packers...I think the Packers should have been there last year, and the Colts are going to take the next step. And the winner will be ....the Colts.

Note: This prediction is subject to change.

Washington Redskins vs. Baltimore Ravens
A d.c. showdown will happen. I am the biggest cowboy fan their is but i have to say the damn redskins will be great. Their d is just great. with clinton portis and a decent qb (Mark Brunell) this team should do well in a relativly weak NFC. The only problem is that the NFC East is very strong this year. My cowboys are looking pretty good, and Phil is the same as always. Jamal Lewis will be fine but he will carry his team to the superbowl.
unfortunetly the afc is much stronger this year.

Now that i think about it i can't bet against my beloved cowboys
New super bowl pick: Cowboys vs. Pats(they ain't getting any worse by adding Cory Dillion)

With no passing game whatsoever, every time the Ravens get behind by more than a TD, it's lights out. They won't even win their division, much less the AFC.

And if the Redskins get there it will be with the worst defense ever to play in a Super Bowl (and since when is Philly "the same as always" now that they've got T.O.?).
