Cool A CD you never get tired of...

What's a CD that you can pop in the player while you're on the computer, have it set on repeat, and never get tired of it?

I'll start with: Ice Cube - Lethal Injection

Sadly, or not so sadly, I have a couple:

REM - Life's Rich Pageant (probably my favorite album from my favorite band)
REM - Document (a close number two)
Pearl Jam - Ten (probably my #2 or #3 band, depending on when I'm asked)
Tool - Undertow (I just f***in' love Tool)
PJ Harvey - Dry (Not that I listen to it that often anymore, but when it's in, it's in for days and days)
Nirvana - Nevermind (A classic. I miss them.)
Public Enemy - Fear of a Black Planet (Another classic. I sometimes long for a PE revival.)

Dave

Nearly anything by Pink Floyd, The John Lennon Collection, Gary Wright -- Dreamweaver, anything by the Moody Blues.

YES! This album rocks. I also never tire of Third Eye Blind's self-titled album, Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory, and Hootie & the Blowfish - Cracked Rear View.

I was waiting for someone to agree! I got it about a week ago and I must have listened to the whole CD 10 or 11 times since then. They just have this sort of funkyness that keeps me turning back to the beginning. I'm glad someone else enjoys it, too .

Meanwhile, I gotta give props to Catman, who has EXCELLENT taste. Pink FLoyd and Moody BLues are two of my favorites.

In fact, I'd say those are my two favorite 70's era bands, hands down.

Go into the 80's, and I would say Talking Heads, especially More Songs About Buildings and Food.

Of today's music, I'm really into a genre called, depending on who you listen to, a form of electronica called donwtempo, dub, or future jazz. It's like techno with more emphasis on melody (and more vocals), creativity, and variance. The best downtempo artists are Pepe Deluxe (Catman, look them up, I have a feeling you would like them) and Gabin.
