Default Big Ten goes 2-1 vs. SEC...

Excuses southern boys? The mighty SEC finished 1-2 vs. the Big Ten and is currently 2-3 overall with Auburn left to play. The Big Ten, which was an underdog for every bowl game ( just like in all 8 back in 2002 in which the Big Ten went 5-3 including OSU's win over Miami in the Fiesta), finished up at 3-3. These games were close, and down to the last second in some cases ( see Outback and Capital One Bowl).

Not going to to proclaim the SEC as a dead duck, or even say the Big Ten is vastly superior, but as the past few years show, the SEC is living off that early weak non-conf scheduling fat to get it's love.

It's close, that's all. Why can't everyone see that? Can't wait to watch the game tommorrow and see the SEC get named the " conference of God" all over again. Interesting to note that since the inception of the BCS, the Big Ten leads the SEC 10-9 in bowl games. Sounds pretty even to me.

I know, silly stats, hail to Dixie.
