Smile P. Diddy is going to buy a nba team

Everyone on sports radio is saying P. Diddy is going to buy a nba team(the knicks are the most likley.)

I think it is a bad investment because he makes so much more money off of his cloting line and record label. But i would love to see him buy a team. It would just get him more star power than he already has.

He also used to be good at basketball and wanted to try to make the nba.

Dolan and Cablevision have already driven the team into the ground. we need to rebuild because we are becoming another team that just adds vets and never gets anywhere team to go the route of the Bulls, Grizzlies, etc. and bring in young HS/college players and get this turned around. leave Houston and Thomas to lead all of it and get a decent coach in here- Chaney sucks.

done ranting now

Yes, the Knicks management is horrendous. Why extend the contract of Don Chaney? Why bring in that pathetic, do-nothing Keith Van Horn? Why draft a PF when you already have too many? Stupid, stupid.

But as for P. Diddy, going along with the new wave of mangement like Cuban and the Maloof brothers in Sactown, I think it would be good for the league. But I seriously doubt P. Diddy would get a team sold to him, no one would do it.

Yep, he's buying a team and MTV is going to start a new series
"Making A Ball Team 1" He's gonna make the whole NY Knicks team walk to get him some cheese cake.

He doesn't need money, he'll sell the rights to every game to MTV and use half time to promote his new and up coming acts.

haha, yeah lakerfan that making the basketball team is good. Yeah then a few players will get in a fight and Diddy will lock down the basketball court.

Well i don't think diddy has the money to own a team. He has alot of money but but not enough to run an nba team.

I think he has the money to buy a team, you can run the team from the revenue. If you can't then why buy it. The problem is I heard no one from the Knicks will return Diddy's phone calls

Would the NBA let someone like Mr Combs own an NBA franchise?

How many owners are there in the league right now that have been in gang fights, shootings and charged with having weapons?

Would the NBA let someone thats had this history buy one of their teams? With all the players getting busted right now, or accused of it anyway, the last thing the league needs right now is a "gangster type" owner to lead a major market team.
