Default Your Analysis Championship Week

1. what do you think about the colts "resting" instead of "practicing"?
2. what do you think peyton manning has done differently in terms of preparing to play the pats, who hes lost to...a lot...
3. do you think the colts running game can support manning and his receivers?
4. will the colts defense hold up, or will the pats roll all over them?
5. which will we see more of, the colts run defense of the regular season (horrible), or the playoffs (spectacular)?
6. will homefield advantage affect either team?
7. are the pats going to effectively balance their offense?
8. will corey dillon have an effective game?
9. after last week's celebration, will the patriots behave any differently?
10. if the colts lose, will tony dungy be on the hot seat?
11. will peyton?
12. will either kicker get iced?
13. who will win and why?
14. who will have the biggest game?
15. will the bears defense better defend bush and mcallister on the run?
16. will their defense continue defending the pass well?
17. can rex grossman, and his wideouts, make big plays to compliment (or save) their defense?
18. will the bears running game show up?
19. does robbie gould, the bears kicker, keep on making plays?
20. can the saints manipulate their receivers in a way to trick the defense?
21. will drew brees make accurate passes?
22. do the saints' defensive line create pressure on grossman?
23. will their secondary cover effectively?
24. will the saints' off field story sentimentally affect any bears?
25. who wins and why?
26. who has the biggest game?
27. give me one huge surprise for the week.
28. give me one overrated story/injury coming in.

1. what do you think about the colts "resting" instead of "practicing"?
Good move - Dungy knows his players better than anyone else.
2. what do you think peyton manning has done differently in terms of preparing to play the pats, who hes lost to...a lot...
Nothing... he's beat them the last 2 games
3. do you think the colts running game can support manning and his receivers?
Sure, why not?
4. will the colts defense hold up, or will the pats roll all over them?
Nope... They played KC and Balt... KC was horrid and I've always personally thought McNair was nothing great and I think he showed that this weekend. Tom Brady and NE is different.
5. which will we see more of, the colts run defense of the regular season (horrible), or the playoffs (spectacular)?
Tuff to say... I know the regular season game this year in Foxboro I was dissapointed the Pats didn't run the ball more. They lost, so will Belichick run it more this time?
6. will homefield advantage affect either team?
No. Pats have gone there before and beat them. That one ended with Indy being down 4 and couldn't get in the endzone on a first and goal. I'm sure Manning is pumped to be at home, but Brady is awesome in domes too. The only good thing is, no snow for Manning!
7. are the pats going to effectively balance their offense?
Yes
8. will corey dillon have an effective game?
I think Maroney will have a good game (less touches though)
9. after last week's celebration, will the patriots behave any differently?
No. Maybe Ellis Hobbs will... I'm sure Belichick got in his butt
10. if the colts lose, will tony dungy be on the hot seat?
no
11. will peyton?
NEVER! Although his confidence may be shot!
12. will either kicker get iced?
Nah...
13. who will win and why?
I have to go Pats. Just because they always seem to beat (a favored) Indy in the playoffs
14. who will have the biggest game?
Tom Brady or Peyton (whichever team wins)
15. will the bears defense better defend bush and mcallister on the run?
Yes
16. will their defense continue defending the pass well?
Yes
17. can rex grossman, and his wideouts, make big plays to compliment (or save) their defense?
Sure, they did this week
18. will the bears running game show up?
Yes
19. does robbie gould, the bears kicker, keep on making plays?
Yup, this kid is money too
20. can the saints manipulate their receivers in a way to trick the defense?
I doubt it
21. will drew brees make accurate passes?
Yeah - he's solid
22. do the saints' defensive line create pressure on grossman?
Maybe
23. will their secondary cover effectively?
Maybe
24. will the saints' off field story sentimentally affect any bears?
Nah
25. who wins and why?
Bears... defense always wins
26. who has the biggest game?
Bears Defense
27. give me one huge surprise for the week.
Vinnitierri missed the game tieing FG

If there is still another game scheduled I will address that with a bit of satire.

The Bears are unfortunately in a no win situation. The prayers of the majority of the nation will be with the team and fans of the Saints. The Bears, dressed in Black, will be playing the role of Satan against the Saints. The poor Bears have no karma going for them when they play against the Saints this week. Touchdown Jesus will be in the Saints backfield for this one.

"Behind me, Satan!"

Everywhere except in Philadelphia, that is.

1. what do you think about the colts "resting" instead of "practicing"?

I can see giving them a day of rest, but don't think it's wise to deviate at aall from what they've been doing the past 2 weeks

2. what do you think peyton manning has done differently in terms of preparing to play the pats, who hes lost to...a lot...

Hasn't changed his underwear since the last win

3. do you think the colts running game can support manning and his receivers?

If Wilfork sits or isn't 100%, then yes. If he plays like he did vs the Jets, they'll need the pass to open up the run game

4. will the colts defense hold up, or will the pats roll all over them?

They'll hold up. Everyone giving Brady and that offense way too much credit after SD handed them the game. He threw 4 int's last outing vs Indy and 3 vs SD. With Sanders back, they're playing much better and gaining confidence.

5. which will we see more of, the colts run defense of the regular season (horrible), or the playoffs (spectacular)?

Probably somewhere in the middle. Don't expect them to completely shut them down, but don't expect the Pats to run for 200 yards either.

6. will homefield advantage affect either team?

Yes. Indy was 8-0 at home, so anyone that doesn't think there's an advantage needs to put the pipe down. NE was good on the road, but a speed team in a dome has distict advantages over an older and slower team.

7. are the pats going to effectively balance their offense?

If they get behind early, no. They'll be forced to pass. If it stays close, then they definetely will.

8. will corey dillon have an effective game?

He should do alright, but Indy has shown that they can stop the power runners lately. Johnson and Lewis, who run downhill like Dillon does, were pretty innefective. I think the Pats need Faulk to catch some passes out of the backfield to open things up

9. after last week's celebration, will the patriots behave any differently?

No, won't behave differently, but karma will bite them in the ass IMO.

10. if the colts lose, will tony dungy be on the hot seat?

No. He's a consistent winner. If Marty is coming back, Tony definetely will.

11. will peyton?

Oh Please.

12. will either kicker get iced?

Gostkowski maybe...being a rookie with a lot of pressure, but no way Vinatieri can be iced.

13. who will win and why?

Colts. Home field advantage and the fact that Peyton has had recent success to rebuild that confidence vs NE. Pats beat a fairly weak and overachieving Jets team at home and needed SD to basically spoon feed them the win last game.

14. who will have the biggest game?

Manning. This is his time.

15. will the bears defense better defend bush and mcallister on the run?

Better than Philly? I should hope so. They'll make Brees beat them, so I think they'll contain the run.

16. will their defense continue defending the pass well?

Based on the weather conditions, they should have success against the pass vs a dome team.

17. can rex grossman, and his wideouts, make big plays to compliment (or save) their defense?

They can. The question is ..will they? I don't think so. Rex Grossman sucks.

18. will the bears running game show up?

It'll show up for an average of 3 yards per carry.

19. does robbie gould, the bears kicker, keep on making plays?

If making plays means kicking field goals, then yes.

20. can the saints manipulate their receivers in a way to trick the defense?

I don't know that they need to. The secondary for the Bears isn't their strength.

21. will drew brees make accurate passes?

Who knows?

22. do the saints' defensive line create pressure on grossman?

Grossman will create pressure for himself. The guy sucks.

23. will their secondary cover effectively?

Do they need to? Grossman sucks.

24. will the saints' off field story sentimentally affect any bears?

No, but Grossman sucks.

25. who wins and why?

I want the Saints, but think Chicago wins for some reason. Everyone and their father is betting on N.O. and the public never wins. If the Saints do win, it will be because Grossman sucks. If Chicago wins it will be because their defense scores points.

26. who has the biggest game?

I say Urlacher. If the Saints pull it out, McAllister

27. give me one huge surprise for the week.

Tom Brady comes out of the closet.

28. give me one overrated story/injury coming in.

Brady's dominance. The guy has been mediocre the last 2 games and the media can't stop talking about how he's God's gift to football. Coaching, defense, and mistakes by opponents have won the last 2 games for NE...not Brady. Granted, his playoff record is impressive, but enough is enough

29. give me one thing a losing team wishes they could hve done.

Won

30. add any thoughts.

I think you should have stopped at 28

31. should i do this analysis thing again for other sports?

Whatever tickles your pickle
