Default Skins make some signings

Randle El signs and they aquire Brandon Lloyd for a 3rd and 4th pick in 2007. The Skins now have a very good set of wideouts to go with Moss. I'm really hoping that Adam Archuleta signs so they can team him up with Taylor, assuming Taylor isnt in jail.

Good. No chance of Randle-El in Philly now.

Bill Vargas on FOX 29 is reporting that the Eagles may sign Brian Finneran, who's likely to have 1,000 yards receiving this coming year - 1,000 yards on 1,000 catches, that is.

So I guess you're satisfied with the nine touchdowns that all of the current wide receivers on the Eagles roster have caught in 2003, 2004 and 2005 combined (the Colts' WRs have 75 over the same period).

Meanwhile, in other free-agent wide receiver news, Brian Finneran has decided to remain with the Falcons, and former Texans WR Corey Bradford has signed a four-year deal with the Lions.

To my calculations that means they now have Roy Williams, Mike Williams, Charles Rogers, NOW Corey Bradford and I think they still have Az Hakim (correct me if i am wrong). Geez what in the world are the Lions doing? Don't they realize they need someone to throw these guys the ball?

Skins keep on chugging with taking Andre Carter away from the 49ers D-line. ESPN.com is reporting that they signed him instead of trading for John Abraham because the Jets wanted at worst, a number 1 draft pick this year.

RW McQuarters signs with the Giants who have been bolstering their corner positions this offseason.

So far the Skins have done nothing but improve with these signings. I read today that Patrick Ramsey may get shipped to the Jets.

Sounds good ... on paper. As always, we'll have to see how things mesh together. It's no secret Daniel Synder spends money, but it hasn't always produced winning teams. And who's going to be throwing the ball to Randle El? Brunell is not the answer for the future. So I'm skeptical.

The first round pick from Auburn last year, Campbell, but Brunell has one more year left in him. Snyder has wised up and these deals are better than bringing in an over the hill Neon Deion and Bruce Smith.

Actually, there is a decent chance that Rogers won't be on the Lions come opening day, and Hakim played for the Saints this past season.

Marc brings up a good point all the Skins signings look good on paper. But, I seem to remember they did this about four or five years ago and it blew up in their face as team chemistry was horrid.

Why the Eagles aren't interested in Hakim is beyond me.
