Default Series 8: (4) Dallas vs. (5) Minnesota

Discuss this playoff series on this thread.

This is another 2-2 split in the season series. I think the Timberwolves can play with these guys. They've played better to end the year than their slump before of that. Flip Saunders is back to playing a lot of zone like in the beginning of the year. I don't know if you can do that a lot against Dallas. But I'm sticking with my pick from before.

Timberwolves in 5.

I favor both teams 'cuz of Steve Nash on Dallas and the fact that Minnesota is the closest team to me geographically -- always like the Minnesota sport franchises.

It should be one helluva series, and if I'm going to watch ANY postseason basketball besides the TOR/DET match-up, it will be this series . . . . but that's highly unlikely with the NHL going on every nite

Lee's Line says Mavs in 5.

Mavs in five, as well. Dallas is hot and Minnesota is cold, but K.G. will make this competitive.

T-Wolves in four. I'm the black sheep and the T-Wolves fan.

I think the Wolves have the ability to win one or maybe two games in this series, but I don't believe that they should win.

Dallas in 4 games. They're high scoring offence will be way too much for the T-wolves.

But on the other hand, Dallas has barely no defense while the T-Wolves have many sets including some zone, which won't really disable Dallas but might make their life harder.

Yep, Dallas' theory is that if you can't beat Shaq down low, you have to score, score, score and run Shaq until his tongue is sticking out. That's what their going to try to do.

Yes Dallas will have to score score and score some more to beat LA. They have the players that can do it. But some players turn cold in the postseason.
