Remains to be seen just how good their run D is going to stand up without Woodson in there. He is a huge part of Dallas' run defense and probably their best defender against the run.

It is sounding a lot like Suggs is a big question mark for Sunday.

Not to contradict myself but apparently Mike Tice has guareenteed that Smith will get over 100 yards rushing. That's a pretty bold statement.

What do you guys think? A bluff on Tice's part or a sincere message supporting his back?

I took a gamble and threw Smith in ...... he's no Priest Holmes but he didn't do to shabby either.

Smith had a nice game 130+ total yards and a TD probably one of the better fantasy backs this week. Not as good as Holmes or Griffin but still a good game.

Yeah I know ..... I just can't wait for Jones and Suggs to come back ..... one of them has got to do well enough to compliment Holmes in my lineup.

I heard Suggs could be returning back to practice this week. As for Jones...I read a quote from Parcells that sounded as though Jones were benched because he did not think he was ready to play.

Who should I start alongside Priest Holmes this week?

1) Lee Suggs
2) Mewelde Moore

I'm thinking Moore because he will own all the carries against a weak New Orleans' run defense.

I don't know about that Moe Williams is expected to play for the Vikes this week. I suspect Moore will still see some action, but I would not be surprised to see Moe get the majority of the carries if he can handle it.

From what Y!/Fanball is reporting, Williams will see some action, but he is still banged up and Moore will get the majority of the handoffs. That's pretty much opposite of what doublee suspected, but I'm just reiterating what I read.

This what ESPN said on its site about it:

"Running back Moe Williams (calf), linebacker Chris Claiborne (calf) and center Matt Birk (ankle) all moved around well in Thursday's practice, coach Mike Tice said, and all are expected to play Sunday night in New Orleans."

It sort of implies that they looked good in practice and felt well enough afterwards that they will play. I just suspect that if Williams is up to snuff he will get his share of carries on Sunday.

I think you're both right in a way. So far I have heard .....

1) Williams will probably play.
2) Moore gets the majority of the carries

From a fantasy perspective this is not great news for owners of Williams or Moore. Even though the Vikes have an intriguing match-up against one of the worst run defenses in the league, neither player will get over 25 touches meaning sub-par stats in compairison to other RBs.
