Buck, is Ten your favorite Pearl Jam album?

Ya know Marc, if you’re going to continue to pick fights with me to get me banned I suggest you put forth a little more effort in the honesty department. You know that’s not what I meant in that post.

At the very least you could have the balls to just ban me outright for the above paragraph. You’ve banned for less before…shouldn’t stop you now.

And yes, I’m well aware you have me right where you want me.

Yeah, it’s the best. Youth, mindful of the past, combined with the nothing to lose attitude. It don't get any better than that.

Kinda peg you as a No Code guy.

MUSH-

Screw you and carry on.

I'm actually in agreement with you on Ten. Love that album. I only ask because my brother is a "music critic" of sorts and big Pearl Jam fan. He claims that Yield is their best "by far."

Oh, and you're not too far off. I do like No Code, but Ten was a very important album in my musical development. I can't hear this song without being immediately jerked back into my childhood.

Critically speaking, Yield is probably their best (the Beatles' influence is overwhelming) but since I was older when they hit it big I simply enjoyed the honesty and sincerity of youth on Ten. When young people get it right...it's perfect... and better than anything that an older musician/group can do.

I listen to mixed stuff of them but if you asked me to name the album I listen to the most from start to finish it would be Yield. Ten is my favorite but I'm too old for that every single day.

That's a pretty good performance. December of 1991 I saw Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Red Hot Chili Peppers in San Diego. Great show.

Downloaded Jay-Z and Coldplay - Viva La Hova. Awesome! Also got Radiohead and Jay-Z - Jaydiohead. Cool music.

My childhood best friend, Nolan Smith, is the cover story on ESPN.com! http://tinyurl.com/bt6ven

If you look at that pic of Nolan with John Starks, I was right there; I have a picture of me and Starks with his autograph. That story is truly tragic and I suggest you all read it. I recently located Nolan on facebook and we text. I can't wait to hang out with him after 12 years apart!

Man, that must have been a helluva show. I think the first time I saw Pearl Jam was in 96 or 97 in Dayton. I didn't know much about music at the time, but I certainly enjoyed it
