Thumbs down NCAA To USC: Take That! And That!

Guess the suits over at the NCAA Politburo were jealous of all the publicity being garnered by the A-Team movie (starring MMA superstar Quinton "Rampage" Jackson in Mr. T's spot) due to open in theaters all over the country tomorrow - so they decided to produce their own "movie," to be shown in the theater of the absurd:

USC punished with two-year football postseason ban - ESPN Los Angeles

How is this any different from the Israelis putting an entire West Bank village on lockdown because some Palestinian kid threw a rock at an Israeli soldier?

In order to "punish" some athletic director or other, now some offensive tackle who had nothing to do with the "violations" - which probably involved a coach taking some other player to McDonald's and buying him a 9-piece Chicken McNuggets - will get picked in the third round of the 2012 NFL draft, when he might have otherwise gone in the first round, costing him literally millions of dollars.

That's really showing them!
