Default Auburn wins a national title

The Auburn Tigers were already going to get rings, but just recently Auburn was named the Peoples National Champion by .fanspoll.com Over 1 and 1/2 million votes were cast from across the country and the Tigers won. So now Auburn gets a nice trophy and can claim itself national champs and there is nothing anybody can say to deny it

Good thing "The People's National Champion" means so much. What's the trophy look like, a WWE Championship belt? Because it holds about the same significance...
I agree in the "Plus One" type of situation, where USC would have played Auburn for the title. But, that's not how things work, so USC must be accepted as champs. Like it, or not.
And I realize that this is debatable, but I really thing USC would crush Auburn. Perhaps, not as bad as OU, but I don't think it would even be close. Too many weapons.

Thanks for the laugh Auburn fan. Having East Alabama Living Magazine as a major sponsor on the first page surely solidifies its credibility in naming a cfb national champ heh.

The BCS, Coach's Poll and AP have all spoken- USC is the national champion, get over it. Did Auburn deserve a fair shake? Yes, but then again that's what happens when you schedule Northern Alabama Border College, Birmingham School for the Blind and The Citadel as an OOC schedule.

Better find a few teams to replace Devry, ITT Tech, and International Corespondence School for next year.

At least Auburn will be playing 1-A teams in 2005:

Georgia Tech
Ball State
Southern Miss

All of them are home games. Hard to bash that when PSU is playing South Florida, Cincinnati and Central Michigan. Two of Auburn's three went to and won bowl games.

I don't really care what y'all think, I'm just letting you know, so you can kiss my a$$ when I say we are national champs, because we are.
