More than 20 years ago, Louis Farrakhan characterized Michael Jackson as, and I quote, "a female-acting, sissified-acting personality who is ruining black youth." When the comment provoked a media firestorm, Farrakhan backed off a bit, stating that he didn't intend to imply that Jackson was gay, but adding: "You have to admit - his image is less than masculine."
Maybe Farrakhan was right all along - but if the white glove don't fit, you must acquit! |

I guess the real question is: is it still ok and socially acceptable to listen to the music?
I would say yes, but I have encountered others recently who think differently. |

I wouldn't listen to anything of his past the Thriller album. Thats when it started to go down hill for MJ IMO.

so we all voted him guilty as hell... and now the defense is resting; figuring they've cast enough reasonable doubt on the accusers.
Any opinions on that? I think Dave Chappelle said it best: Lawyer: "Dave, do you think he's guilty?" Dave: "He made Thriller, man..... thrilla...." Lawyer: "So you'd let your kids sleep in his bed...." Dave: "@#^% no!" |

I think he's probably guilty still, but by being able to proof doubt in the accusers, he will get off the hook. Even if they can prove doubt, it doesn't really prove he didn't do it. But I guess innocent until proven guilty reigns true. Unfortunately with this case, I think it was guilty until proven innocent.
