Default Jets @ Patriots

Big rivalry here with Rex Ryan saying it's personal with Bill Belichick. I think Patriots win because Sanchez is too shaky at QB, and Brady is lights-out. Patriots 31, Jets 20. Who ya got?

Brady/Pats still on too much of a roll. They may come down but not to the Jets...

Pats - 27 Jets - 16

Jets are talking lots of smack, but what else is new? Last time they were annihilated by the Pats, it's still shocking that they have a coach who actually encourages it.

Yea, he sure does have daddy Buddy's genes.

Jets are still too young IMO to have that added pressure, bravado brought on by Ryan. It motivates at times but sends the wrong message ultimately.

It'll catch up with them more often than not...

Cool Anthony's Pick

NEW ENGLAND 26, N.Y. Jets 14 (+9) - Will Rex Ryan and his players please shut up? Say this for Rex though: He's already won three playoff games, which is three more than his father won. In certain ways, the Patriots have defied logic this year, cruising to the entire league's best record despite a statistically porous defense that ranked 25th in yards allowed. In points given up, however, New England was eighth - and they gave up only three when they last played the Jets, also at home, with the division on the line in Week 13. Look for Tom Brady's experience to trump Mark Sanchez's inexperience in this affair - and if Bill Belichick rubs it in with a walk-off field goal to cover the spread, remember where you heard it first.

Welker's subtle dig back at Ryan & his Jets is priceless...

**************************************************

Welker toes the line in news conference

Though he did not mention Jets coach Rex Ryan specifically, he managed to slip 11 references to feet or toes into his weekly meeting with reporters on Thursday, leading many to speculate that Welker was taking subtle habs at the team's coach....

Last month, videos surfaced of Ryan's wife, Michelle, displaying her feet in a series of foot-fetish videos. A male voice sounding like the Jets coach was heard in one of the videos....

It wouldn't shock me one bit if Belichick ends up pulling what Sam Wyche pulled against Jerry Glanville in that game back in 1989:
