I pick Green Bay to win.

3.-PHILADELPHIA EAGLES--(10-3)-.769-(PF-347-PA-207)-The Eagles continue to roll by beating Seattle, 27-20 in Seattle. Philadelphia has a three game lead over the Giants in the NFC East. Rookie quarterback A.J.Feeley completed 21-of-35 for 190 yards and two touchdowns. Feeley had one picked off. Running back Duce Staley rushed for 100 yards on 21 carries and scored one rushing touchdown. The Eagles defense came up with four sacks and three interceptions on the day. Defensive end Brandon Whiting(6-3-285) had two of those four sacks. Cornerback Bobby Taylor had two interceptions. The Eagles rank first in the NFC in kickoff returns, averaging 25.4 yards per kick. Next game Dec. 15th against Washington in Philadelphia. I pick Washington to upset Philadelphia.

4.-ATLANTA FALCONS--(8-4-1)-.654-(PF-326-PA-245)-The Falcons got their wings clipped by Tampa Bay, 34-10 in Tampa. Atlanta had only 181 total net yards of offense. Rookie running back T.J. McAllister now has 1,176 yards rushing on the season and has scored 13 rushing touchdowns. The Saints defense forced five turnovers. Next game Dec. 15th against Minnesota at New Orleans. I pick New Orleans to win.

6.-OAKLAND RAIDERS--(9-4)-.692-(PF-381-PA-265)-Oakland beat San Diego, 27-7 in San Diego. The Raiders lead the AFC West by one game over the Chargers. Running back Ricky Williams gained 216 yards on 31 carries and scored two rushing touchdowns. That was his second consecutive 200 yards plus rushing game this season. He's the third player in NFL history to do that. Houston's Earl Campbell was the last player to perform that feat and he did it in 1980. Williams gained 228 yards against Buffalo just last week. Williams ran for a 63-yard touchdown in the third quarter. His longest touchdown ever in the NFL. Linebacker Zach Thomas, Dolphins, leads the NFL in tackles with 123. The Steelers were 6-1-1 in their previous eight games, the NFL's best record over that span except for Atlanta going 7-0-1, yet lost to a first year team that completed only three passes and had only three first downs. The Texans were outgained 422-47, the fewest yard for a winning NFL team ever. How did this happen? Quarterback Tommy Maddox returned to the lineup after having suffered a scary injury a couple of weeks ago, completed 30-of-57 for 325 yards, but he threw two interceptions. Next game Dec. 15th against Carolina in Pittsburgh. I pick Pittsburgh to win.

15.-DENVER BRONCOS--(7-6)-.538-(PF-308-PA-285)-The Broncos got beat by the New York Jets, 19-13 at New York. Denver is now trailing by two games in the AFC West. They can't afford another loss. Quarterback Brian Griese was 28-of-37 for 266 yards and one touchdown. Griese threw one interception. Rookie running back Clinton Portis gained 103 yards on 24 carries. Portis went over the 1,000 rushing yard mark with his performance Sunday. Next game Dec. 15th against Kansas City in Denver. I pick Kansas City to win.

16.-KANSAS CITY CHIEFS--(7-6)-.538-(PF-419-PA-322)-The Chiefs smashed St. Louis 49-10 in Kansas City. Dante Hall returned a kickoff and a punt for a touchdown, one week after running back a punt 90 yards for a score. With this loss St. Louis was eliminated from any playoff contention. Running back Priest Holmes rushed for 132 yards and scored two touchdowns for the Chiefs. Holmes is two shy of the NFL record of scoring 26 touchdowns in a season, which was set by the Ram's Marshall Faulk in 2000. Next game Dec. 15th against Denver in Denver.

17.-CLEVELAND BROWNS--(7-6)-.538-(PF-283-PA-263)-The Browns beat Jacksonville in dramatic fashion, 21-20 in Jacksonville. As time expired wide receiver Quincy Morgan caught a 50-yard pass from quarterback Tim Couch. Cleveland had to wait a few minutes as officals reviewed the play, but the call on the field was upheld. Kicker Phil Dawson kicked the extra point to win the game for his team. The Browns are still in the playoff hunt with Sunday's win. Next game Dec. 15th against Indianapolis at Cleveland.

18.-NEW YORK GIANTS--(7-6)-.538-(PF-229-PA-238)-The Giants defeated Washington, 27-21 at Washington. New York forced five turnovers against the Redskins despite playing without five of their defensive starters. Backup safety Kato Serwanga released by Washington last Monday and signed by New York on Wednesday, stopped a potential game winning drive when he stripped the ball from receiver Darnerien McCants. Cornelius Griffin, Giants, had three of New York's six sacks and forced one fumble. Great effort by Griffin. Next game Dec. 15th against Dallas at New York. I pick New York to win.

19.-BUFFALO BILLS--(6-7)-.462-(PF-332-PA-365)-The Bills lost to New England, 27-17 at New England. Quarterback Drew Bledsoe had a real bad homecoming against his former team. Third string quarterback Jamie Martin was 24-of-35 for 218 yards and one touchdown and two interceptions. Running back Marshall Faulk rushed for 13 yards on 10 carries. The Rams rank first in the NFC in passing offense, averaging 259.5 yards per game. It's their defense that needs help. Next game Dec. 15th against Arizona at St. Louis. I pick St. Louis to win.

22.-DALLAS COWBOYS--(5-8)-.385-(PF-193-PA-245)-The Cowboys lost to San Francisco 31-27 at Dallas. Quarterback Chad Hutchinson threw two interceptions. Dallas's record playing on the road is 1-5. 23.-WASHINGTON REDSKINS--(5-8)-.385-(PF-240-PA-307)-The Redskins lost to the New York Giants, 27-21 in Washington. He had just returned from a suspension for beating up a fellow teammate. Quarterback Rodney Peete was 21-of-29 for a season high 319 yards and three touchdowns. The 52 points scored is a new franchise record for Carolina. The Panthers defense ranks third in the NFC, allowing 298.8 yards per game. Next game Dec. 15th against Pittsburgh at Carolina.

26.-SEATTLE SEAHAWKS--(4-9)-.308-(PF-264-PA-307)-Seattle lost to Philadelphia, 27-20 in Seattle. The Raiders have to be higher than #6, but that is just what I think.

After further thought I must agree-they should be at least number four-they have won five games in a row-my mistake.

You have to admit Philadelphia has overcome a lot of adversity and is playing as good as any one and Green Bay plays sloppy at times, but they are 10-3.
