Heh, nice job of trying to recover there, Brownback. Silly politician.

He is a Republican from Kansas, so you shouldn't have expected too much from him. Plus, this may have been the one-instance in which Sam Brownback actually told the truth.

United States Congressman Jerry Moran stops by the radio station every so often and he is always wearing his black-and-yellow striped tie, which is the school colors of Cloud County Community College. Luckily for Jerry, black-and-yellow are also the colors for Emporia State University and Fort Hays State University.

All his bases are covered, thanks to one tie!

EDIT: I also want to welcome Kamikaze to the boards, even if he is a Sooners fan. When they are not playing Kansas State or Kansas, Oklahoma is almost likeable...

Yeah, its always a disaster - these guys have no business talking sports. Remember when John Kerry was a Fenway and he threw out a pitch that bounced to the plate. Then later in an interview he said something like "we've got great players like Manny Ortiz"... LOL
Although I will say one of my favorite moments ever was after Sep 11th when the World Series resumed, George Bush's perfect strike was just awesome - still gives me chills to this day when I watch that.

Thanks. But taking shots at the new guy already??
That's okay, I can take it.

I'm actually more of an NFL fan than a college football fan. And football is the only sport I follow.

In the long run Manning will be the better QB I feel.
